A dear friend sent me this short video a while back and it has been playing in my mind ever since. I have to say that it has been a source of great comfort and hope. Considering all that is going on these days, I thought I would share it.
Even though this isn’t directly related to cooking or food, it certainly qualifies as spiritual food and while we may have plenty of the former, we sure can all use more uplifting messages! Don’t forget to turn up the volume or put your headset on if you are at work! Get comfortable.

Now that you have heard the song and read the lyrics, you may want to watch this other one. It was filmed in Thailand and it is sung by a million Thai children! It takes place every year! I cannot begin to imagine the logistics to organize an event of this scale and with children! By the way, if you wonder who is this handsome man standing, he is the songwriter. What a gift for him and for all of us! You will see what I mean.
Can you see all the children, all the nations, living in peace all together?
A world where all life is cherished, protected and nurtured. I can.
A world where we live in harmony with Nature. It is up to each and every one of us to hold the image and the intention, the rest will follow.
There is a law in the universe that says that energy follows thought.
In other words, what we focus on expands. So you must be aware of what you think, say, watch or listen to!
But more importantly, let’s start holding visions of Truth, Love, Nobility, Peace, and Safety for all beings on earth.
There are over 7 billion of us, don’t you think we can do this?
Could it be that, as Marianne Williamson so soulfully stated in A Return to Love: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frighten us.” And since darkness is only the absence of light, it doesn’t exist on its own, we must shine our light, the light of our divine infinite wondrous soul.
Maybe we are not human beings searching for a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a human experience. There is a big difference! What if we came to this planet to bring Heaven on Earth!
Ok, so we may have gotten a little lost along the way (this world can be very confusing!) All I have to say is that we must have been pretty bored up there to have agreed to come down here. And one thing is for sure, we didn’t read the small print!

May all beings be safe
May all beings be healthy
May all beings be happy
