5-minute Pizza

This crispy pizza can be made in 5 minutes and only requires 5 ingredients. It is a game-changer and makes a wonderful lunch or appetizer.

Equipment

  • Frying pan or cast iron pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large burrito size flour tortilla
  • 1 tsp vegan butter (Earth Balance)
  • 1/4 cup fresh tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup Miyoko's liquid mozzarella
  • fresh basil leaves

Instructions
 

  • Spread a little vegan butter on one side of the flour tortilla.
  • Heat up the frying pan for a minute or two.
  • Place the buttered side down.
  • Immediately place a ladle of tomato sauce in the middle and use the spoon’s bottom to spread the sauce in circles, leaving a small edge.

  • Place a few dollops of liquid mozzarella evenly spaced apart.
  • Sprinkle ribbons of freshly cut basil leaves.
  • Cook on high heat for 3 minutes covered.
  • Uncover and reduce to medium heat for another 2 minutes.
  • Optional but recommended: Drizzle some spicy pizza oil.
  • Cut slices and serve immediately with a green salad.
